- By entering this competition you agree to these terms and conditions and any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
- Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions.
- Entry is open to Animates club members only.
- Employees and immediate families of the promoter, its associated companies and agencies are ineligible to enter.
- Club members may enter as many pets as they like. However, we will accept only one entry per pet and only one photograph per entry.
- Each entry is to be a single image of one pet only and must not include multiple pets or other human family members.
- When uploading a photo to the site please ensure it is no larger than 8MB. Finalist photos will then need to be re-supplied via on-line transfer at it's original size once the competition has closed. If participants are not able to supply the image suitable for production they will not be eligible to win applicable prizes and another winner will need to be chosen.
- Photo must not have been re-touched. Fuzzy or bad-quality photos may not be entered. Original photo’s should be taken on a minimum 7-10 megapixel, good quality camera and should not be manipulated in any way.
- The person entering the pet must be the legal owner of the pet. The participating photo, as well as the pet, must be in the possession of the participant. The information given regarding the pet must be truthful. The promoter reserves the right to inspect pets in location.
- Pets must not be subjected to any cruel or harmful treatment in order to create the photo. The promoter reserves the right to not accept any entry if they believe the pet has been subjected to cruel or harmful treatment.
- The promotion commences 1st August 2011. Entries close Sunday 4th September 2011.
- Judging will be completed by Friday 9th September 2011. Finalists will be notified by Wednesday 14th September 2011. Winners will be chosen and notified by Wednesday 28th September 2011.
- The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Prize. The top 12 finalists photo’s will be produced into a 2012 Animates calendar, each winning owner will receive a $200 Animates gift voucher as well as copies of the calendar once printed.
- Finalists who are not selected in the top 12 will receive a $50 animates gift voucher as well a copy of the calendar once printed.
- The prizes are not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
- All entries become property of the promoter.
- No responsibility is accepted for lost or misdirected entries.
- Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
- By entering, entrants grant permission to use their entered photo, names, voices and likeness in connection with the promotion and for future promotion and marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use – regardless of whether they are a finalist.
- No responsibility is accepted for lost or misdirected entries.
- The promoter is Animates NZ Holdings Limited.
