The oral treatment for fast acting knockdown of adult fleas on cats and dogs weighing between 0.5g-11kg. Capstar tablets can be administered to kittens and puppies from four weeks of age.
Care instructions
Administer one tablet on any day when fleas are evident on your pet. Repeat on any subsequent day when fleas are again evident on your pet. . Flea detection can be achieved by examining the skin for signs of flea activity by parting the pets coat. Effective long term flea control demands an integrated approach. This means breaking the flea breeding cycle by using products, such as Prac-tic in dogs, alongside Capstar tablets. Regular washing of animal bedding and vacuuming carpets will also help control fleas in the pet's environment. Capstar tablets should be used when fleas are found on your pet. There are no known contra-indications to the use of this product

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shania from It works but it can be scary! I was super hesitant to use this, however after some research we tried this on our cats. If you cant catch your cat for flea treatment I definitely recommend this. We crushed it up in their food and after a few hours we could see it working. Just be warned if you have a kitty that has a lot of fleas, it wont be fun for you and them. One of ours was super stressed and freaking out the first time because of the sheer amount of fleas she had running on her. It does specify all of this as a possibility but no one has said actually how scary it can be. We used it again the next week because the fleas were back and I havent seen a flea on either of them since and its been about two weeks since that last dose
