Looks good,but... from
Big fail.
Good quality product, until it rains. The way that these are designed means that as soon as any water gets around the top of the cat door, it leaks into your house.
On top of this, most glaziers sell a better quality product for around $50 cheaper. I bought two of these to be fitted to my new doors and when taken to the glazier to be put in he informed me of the issue AND that they had written to the manufacturer to let them know how faulty the product was.
I was able to seal them myself, but I would definitely urge anyone looking at this brand / product to do their research before purchasing. Wouldn't recommend this to ANYONE. Its expensive, poorly made, requires additional work to be made functional and practical and continues to be sold despite the manufacturers being made aware of the faults.
Animates, perhaps you could look into removing this from your stocked products? It doesn't do you any good to be associated with such a poorly made item.
This review isn't a reflection on Animates itself, but the product. Animates have never let me down before and I take responsibility into not doing enough research on this particular item.
