10 Puppy Training Tips

Dogs are pack animals and naturally look to you for guidance from the moment you arrive home - be sure to start puppy training right away with simple commands. Check out our tips below.

1. Dedicate Training Time

It's important to set aside training time for your puppy each day. Plan them for the quieter times in your household and keep the sessions no more than 10-15 minutes in duration. Make sure that it's not interrupting your puppy's normal feeding or resting times.

2. Teach Your Puppy Their Name

Use your puppy's name in an animated, then praise and reward with a treat when they respond. Your puppy needs to learn that when you say their name, your wanting their attention.
