Description
Adaptil Spray helps make travel and visits to the vet or to the groomer less stressful. It is a convenient formulation for intermittent use, especially when on the go!
Adaptil Spray can be sprayed directly on:
your dog's bedding
inside crates
indoor kennels
in the car.
How to use Adaptil Spray?
Shake the bottle
Spray 8 to 10 pumps of Adaptil 15 minutes prior to expected effects and before the dog is introduced into the sprayed environment (car, carrier, kennel etc -).
Effects should last approximately 4-5 hours, although each animal will respond differently.
Reapply after this time or if you notice a reduced effect.
ADAPTIL Spray can be applied directly on bedding, inside crates, indoor kennels , or in the car, but be sure to apply without the dog in the area to be sprayed (particularly inside the carrier or crate) and allow enough time (15 min) for alcohol evaporation.
Adaptil Spray should not be directly sprayed on animals or near an animal's face.

Absolute game changerI have an aggressive, over active 7 year old. He obviously has many behavior issues that we are slowly trying to correct. However, having people inside his home is a massive anxiety for him. To the point where we could no longer have people over for his safety and theirs. I was given this spray and told to try. Boy, oh boy! He was a different animal. We use it when he's having panic episodes or when we know people are visiting. Car rides are no longer a screaming match either. He calmly sits down and barely moves the entire trip! Honestly, I heavily doubted how it could possibly work but it does. Absolutely AMAZING stuff.

Good productI purchased this for my dog who has developed an intense fear of the vets (including whining/crying and uncontrollable urinating and defecating) due to having to have lengthy stays. I spray some on a bandana and loosely tie it around his neck when we go to the vets and animal physio. It works fantastically for him - he is much more relaxed, no unexpected toileting and no whining/crying. I highly recommend for animals who find particular short term situations stressful! Only let down for me is it’s a bit expensive for how much comes in the bottle (it was only around 3/4-1/2 full)

Wish I could get a refundI bought this recently hoping it would help with one of my chihuahuas who has been upset with me going to work. I did everything by the instructions however my chiwi still got so upset that he tore up the vinyl which cost a lot to fix. The adaptil appears to be a waste of money and I can't utilize the money back guarantee since I purchased it from Animates NZ. Also, I am doubtful over the safety of this product - it says it's flammable. It came only three quarters full. Such a waste of my money :(

Awesome productWe have been using Adaptil spray for about 2 yrs and it has been an amazing help to our Jack Russell. He is 11 yrs old and we struggled through 8 guy Fawkes with terrible anxiety but since using Adaptil he is significantly calmer and each year gets better with him actually sleeping through some of it this year ...wow!!
We have also used it to introduce him to a crate when he injured himself and it’s been a godsend! Read the instructions properly and I hope you get as good a result as we have had!

Waste of money, zero effect6 year old border collie has been suffering from severe nausea while travelling, it has gotten worse as he has lost his hearing. Arched back, panting, dribbling, chewing, scratching, completely unsettled. After trying a herbal remedy to no success our vet clinic suggested this product. $80 down the gurgler, had absolutely no effect and we had tried it on a few trips to make sure it wasn’t something that they might take time to get full effect from. Save your money, don’t recommend at all.

Amazing! Was given this from a friend because it didn’t work for their dog, but worked on mine amazingly!
My dog would either wee or vomit when in the car she was so stressed. We sprayed this 15 mins before we left and she just sat in the back peacefully for the whole car ride. Can’t believe the difference it maxe
