Clothing

Dog clothing isn’t just for fun or getting the likes on social media. Practical dog clothes and dog accessories can help your dog feel protected, warm, and safe.

In winter, some dogs can’t generate enough body heat to stay warm, so a dog coat or a dog jacket can help keep them warm and comfortable, as well as help prevent health issues like hypothermia. This can be especially true in older pets, or if your dog has just had its long hair groomed short, or if your dog is a breed that has very little hair. In these cases, your dog will love staying cosy in a jacket or a coat. Special dog knits will also help keep them warm and look great! On the flip side, there are also cooling vests to help dogs stay comfortable on those hot summer days.

Dog boots can also be a good idea, especially for active puppies who love to run around. Your dog’s paws can be very soft and prone to injury, especially in extreme weather, so boots can help prevent cuts, burns, or frostbite.

If you’re a boatie, you’ll know how important it is to have life jackets for everyone on board – this goes for your dog too, who may be more likely to jump into the water than you are! Lifejackets come in all sizes to fit your dog and will help them stay buoyant and stop them from tiring out if they find themselves overboard.

Whatever dog clothes or accessories you decide to dress your dog in – make sure they fit well and feel comfortable.
