For the treatment or prevention of minor wounds and dermatological conditions. Also in the treatment of dermatalogical conditions like minor cases of itch, eczema and treatment of other superficial animal wounds.
Care instructions
CONTRAINDICATIONS: This product is contraindicated for use in kittens and puppies less than 12 weeks old. Pets should not be allowed to lick the product as some animals are sensitive to Iodine treatments. WARNING: If the preparation fails to alleviate the condition being treated, the user should seek veterinary advice. FOR USE AS A SHAMPOO: Stop-Itch can be used as a shampoo to prevent the spread of illness. As soon as symptoms appear, animals should be washed all over to prevent the spread of infection. Dillute 1 part of Stop-Itch to 20 parts of warm water and rub well into the coat and allow foam to remain for at least 5 minutes. Rinse, dry, and then liberally apply undiluted Stop-Itch to infected and surrounding areas. Wipe off excess from the coats of cats. FOR SKIN CONDITIONS: Clean the infected area with a solution of 1 part Stop-Itch to 20 parts warm water. Towel dry, then liberally apply undiluted Stop-Itch to the affected area. Repeat daily for 3-4 days, or until condition improves. WOUNDS: Dab the wound with cotton wool or gauze soaked with undiluted Stop-Itch. Repeat daily 3-4 days or until healing is well evidenced. ADDITIONAL USER SAFETY INFORMATION: Will irritate the skin, if product on skin, immediately wash area with soap and water. When using the product wear disposable gloves. Wash hands after use. FIRST AID: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 (AU) or 0800 764 766 (NZ). STORAGE: Store below 30°C (room temperature). Keep out of direct sunlight. DISPOSAL: Dispose of empty container by wrapping with paper and placing in garbage. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
