Short description
The Exo Terra Water Well provides reptiles and invertebrates with a constant source of clean, fresh water.
Water evaporates quickly in hot terrariums. That, coupled with the fact that the terrarium inhabitants have the tendency to spill or foul their water dish, makes it necessary to change or refill the water dish on a daily basis. The Exo Terra Water Well eliminates this problem by providing a constant source of fresh, clean water while its reservoir protects the water supply from reptiles and insects.
The small basin prevents the animals from fouling or spilling the water, while a screen prevents insects or smaller reptiles and amphibians from entering the reservoir. The natural rock-like finish makes the Exo Terra Water Well easy to integrate into any type of terrarium setup.

DecentAll in all it does a decent job. The water-well is small so it’s not easily contaminated and its well balanced so it’s not too easy to knock over - as long as it’s placed in a corner. The mesh that is meant to keep live food and bio insects out doesn’t keep isopods out completely, but it’s better than nothing. Since the tower is opaque and the water inside the tower isn’t exposed to light it stays fresh/algae-free fairly well, but it still needs to be cleaned out well before the water runs out - IME twice weekly.
The thread where the internal bottle screws is is pretty cheaply made - It looks like they roughly cut a hole in the lid of a disposable bottle and glued it to the base. Functionally it works pretty well and you can’t see the internals, but it just seemed a little homemade.
