Small shavings (no larger than a grain of rice) should pass through. If you think your dog swallowed a piece, take the product away and contact your veterinarian.
Inspect before giving to your dog to make sure it's whole and intact. Check frequently & replace if damaged, ends are worn down or if it becomes too small to chew safely

Great for chewersPerfect for strong persistent chewers. Last one I brought easily lasted 9 months and still had plenty of life in it but has been lost in the paddock. Was very excited to see its still being made
