Description

For large dogs over 5 years old, ROYAL CANIN® Maxi Ageing Loaf is a nutritionally complete and balanced wet food diet scientifically designed to meet your large dog’s specific needs and support them throughout their senior years. With their extended digestive transit time, larger dogs are more susceptible to digestive sensitivities. This food contains highly digestible proteins and a balanced supply of fibres to help promote good digestive health.  Weighing between 26kg and 44kg, large dogs place the majority of their body weight on their joints. This formula is specially crafted with a combination of vitamins and minerals to help maintain healthy bones and joints in ageing dogs.  Crafted with a science-based blend of essential vitamins and nutrients like EPA and DHA, this formula helps to support lifelong vitality. Enriched with a blend of nutrients, this food helps keep your ageing dog’s skin healthy and their coat glossy and gorgeous.   ROYAL CANIN® Maxi Ageing Loaf is also available in two types of dry kibble: Maxi Adult 5+ and Maxi Ageing 8+. Senior dogs’ sensory capacity decreases as they age, so mixing wet and dry food helps to enhance the palatability of the meal. All ROYAL CANIN® products undergo an extensive quality control process to guarantee high-quality food. Our team of scientists create formulas tailored to your senior dog’s specific nutritional needs, using high-quality nutrients and keeping sustainability in mind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tendra85 from Happy Dog The label is really well designed making it quick and easy to work out the size and age of the dog this product is suitable which is great! My large elderly dog really enjoyed this (he can be pretty fussy with what he will and won't eat!) The texture made it really easy for him to eat; now that he's older he has a bit of trouble eating as easily as he used to. I have a love/hate I guess for the tin. Love that it keeps it fresh and doesn't dry out but on the other hand it can be quite difficult to get it all out of the tin which was annoying. The feeding instructions on the can were too much for my old boy there's no way he would eat nearly 5 cans! Though he isn't a big eater and keeps his weight well so might be different for other dogs I received this product as a gift for my honest review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Milo 1234 from Dog food I’ve been using Royal Canin Loaf Dog Food for my dog during this trial and I have to say, I’m impressed with its quality and how much my dog enjoys it. I’m happy knowing they’re getting a balanced diet. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. The price can be a bit high, but in my experience, it’s worth it for the quality and the results. Just make sure you’re picking the right formula for your dog’s needs! Received product for impartial review. Opinions expressed are my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nicola24 from Convenient cans! My dog has really enjoyed this product. We give it to her in combination with her dry food, and she is so excited for her meals! The tins are easy to open, and are a good small size which makes it easier to scoop. Since we give our dog half a tin at a time with her dry food, I just put a piece of tinfoil on top to keep it fresh in the fridge. My dog seems to enjoy the smell and taste so that's fantastic! This product was gifted to me for the purpose of a fair and honest review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SkyesMum from Doggo taste-buds approved! I was hesitant at first as my dog gets an upset stomach on wet food normally, but it's been great. She loves the taste, and no adverse effects - whew! I like the different colour coded cans to make it easier to get the correct one for my dog. Definitely enjoyed by her doggy neighbours as well as we shared some for them to try. It's a wagging tail review from Skye! This product was gifted to me to try for my honest review, whether positive or negative.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Maggie L from Enjoyed by Dog The packaging is simple and minimalistic providing the important information that can be easily seen at a glance. I found for my (roughly 8kg) dog the recommended serving size to be a little bit too much as I also add dry dog food and sometimes a gravy topper with the meat loaf. I think just one can is enough if served with extras as they suggest anyway. I received this product as a gift for my honest review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kel81 from Bulldog approved! My two bulldogs absolutely loved the Royal Canin Loaf cans! When we've tried canned food before in their diet we've suffered with the accompanying farts! But the loaf cans didn't seem to affect them in that way - success!! I received this product as a gift for my honest review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bx T from Our Dog Loved it! Our dog loved this product! It was not dry like some can be. We used it alongside grainfree dog biscuits. Gave her the nutrition she needs. Happy with the product. This product was gifted to me for the purpose of a fair and honest review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Charles55 from Convenient way to feed Full disclosure: I was provided this product to try in return for a review. Our dog is 9 years old and is a fussy eater, but she really loves this product. My daughter has to lock the dog outside while she fills her bowl, because our normally chill dog is so excited about eating it. Prior to trying this dog food we had bought dog loaf, which needed to be kept refrigerated and required us to cut off portions. After trying these cans - which are a perfect size to feed all in one go - I have asked my husband to buy these cans instead of dog roll. No more disgusting forgotten dog roll down the back of the fridge! On the negative side, according to the side of the can, we should be feeding her 3.5 cans per day. This would defeat the convenience of not having to store dog rood in the fridge and would likely be an expensive way to feed her (I don't know the cost of the cans). But we will instead be using it to supplement her biscuits. Our dog loves the taste of this stuff and I love the convenience of being able to open a can instead of storing dog meat in the fridge. We will be getting this again. I received this product as a gift for my honest review.
