Short description
Very active, brightly-coloured livebearing fish that enhance a community aquarium.
Temperment: Generally peaceful schooling fish, suitable for community tanks with non-nipping tankmates
Shoal Size: Best kept in a group of several females per male
Food: Not fussy/most aquarium foods
General Information Available in a wide range of colours and tail types, including the High-fin Lyretail variant. One of the things that make them so popular is their hardiness, as they can survive in very diverse environments. Females do not have the "sword" tail.
