What a load of blowBought this fixture and while it seemed reliable I had the same problem as the othwr reviewer. Low wattage bulbs seemingly worked fine, but any medium wattage bulb would blow, only lasting 3 weeks maximum. Our last bulb before we gave up actually blew, almost casing a fire. All cables/bulbs were safe, under surge protection, monitored, not left on for extended periods, and checked regularly. The grip can also slip out of place at times and combining that with the blowing blubs is a recipe for disaster. Had been told the bulbs were the problem but after buying 5 bulbs you really start to wonder. Don't buy this if you can.
