Congratulations on adopting your new kitten; it's a big step adding a new fur-friend to the family, especially an energised kitten. Read the tips below to make sure settling in goes as smoothly as possible.
If you’re still in the early stages of planning for a kitten, download our Kitten Guide here.
Travelling with your kitten or cat may be not be something you intend to do often, but it’s something you’ll need to do when they go to the vet, to a cattery or if you plan on taking them on holiday with you. Spending the time to ensure they are comfortable while they travel will make the experience as stress-free as possible.
Grooming is not only good for keeping your kitten’s coat healthy, it’s also a great way to bond with them. While grooming, you can also check for any abnormalities on your kitten, so this makes it great for checking their health too. If they have long hair you will need to brush them every 2-3 days, but if they’re medium-short haired, then you can do it once a week.
