Flea, Tick & Worm

Fleas are one of the most common parasites that can affect your cat. If your cat goes exploring outdoors, then it is highly likely they will come into contact with fleas. So, you will want to treat your cat for fleas on a regular basis to stop them hitching a ride inside. Flea bites are painful and itchy for your cat, and they can cause a few health problems. If you see your cat scratching itself a lot, or spot any dark specks where they sleep, then it’s time for cat flea treatment. It’s also more than likely your cat will need worm treatment too. Luckily there are a lot of cat flea treatment and worm treatment options available for cats to get rid of these tiny creepy crawlies and prevent them from coming back.

When choosing flea or worm treatment for cats make sure that your cat fits within the age and weight restrictions displayed on the product. There are products available that treat both fleas and worms at once. And if you’re not a fan of trying to get your cat to swallow a pill there are simple spot-on cat worm and flea treatments that you simply squeeze onto the back of your cat’s neck – this also stops your arm becoming a scratching post.

It is important to maintain a regular flea and worm treatment programme, and many products come with several months’ worth of doses so you can keep on top of those bitey little blighters and keep your cat flea and worm free.
